The jinazah salah for Haji Muhammad Din was held at Jamia Islamia after Jumuah salah on 16th January 2009. The funeral prayers were led by Hadhrat Allama Khalid Mahmud sahib. Before salah, Allama sahib told the congregation that Haji Din had dedicated a great portion of his life to the work of the Islamic Academy. He was involved at the Islamic Academy since the early days and also the construction work of Jamia Islamia from the beginning. Furthermore, Haji Din had been involved in organising the annual Khatme Nabuwut conference for the past 11 years.
Haji Din had returned from Hajj only 15 days before his death and Allama sahib stated that he returned insha’Allah free from sins and then passed away so soon afterwards that insha’Allah he left the world pure and free from sin.
We pray that Allah forgives him and grants him Jannat-ul-Firdaus, and also that Allah makes it easy for his family.
